M & O Updates - September 2023

The Missions & Outreach Committee at FBC wants to thank everyone who has given of their resources to make a difference in the lives of others here in our area, throughout New England, nationally and internationally. Many of these recipients have expressed their thanks as well. Here’s a sampling of those who have expressed thanks to us as a church family:

 

Adult & Teen Challenge and a separate thank you from Dean of ATC: Dean wrote, “I just wanted to reach out and thank you all for allowing us to come out to your church and share…I am personally a success story of this ministry, and it wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for people and churches like yours that paid my way.”

Turning Points Network: “It takes incredible courage to end the cycle of abuse…Your generosity ensures the continued success of survivors in Sullivan County and furthers our mission to end domestic and sexual violence in our communities.”

St. Gianna’s Place, Inc. A Safe Harbor for Mother and Child: “The fruits of His merciful love have been experienced at St. Gianna’s Place in many ways…The house is also full! We are housing six families - three pregnant and three parenting moms. They are developing as a community while working on their personal goals.”
